WINTER AND SNOW SHOES & BOOTS FOR MEN
Sure, there may still be leaves on the ground and daylight until 7p.m., but your skis are waxed, your jacket’s re-waterproofed and you’re counting the days for season passes to go on presale. We get it, we’re winter people too. Here in the Pacific Northwest we see sloggy trails, snowy mountain passes, and sleet-covered streets on the regular. Our men’s winter boots and shoes are designed to keep you warm when you need it, and dry, always.
Which boot is the right one for your adventure? Choose the sentence below that describes your needs best.
“I wanted a boot that was lighter than muck boots and/or my old Sorel Caribou’s. A dog musher friend said to try Keen insulated boots...”
No need to wait for someone else to make first tracks. We gave our waterproof winter boots for men a higher profile for deeper powder and our warmest insulation (rated to -40°F), plus better grip for snow and ice.
"After living in mukluks most of the winter, with a snowmobile maintained trail system, and occasional snowshoeing in the deep stuff we entered April, the season of slop and post-holing in knee deep snow, so the snowshoes come out for the long walks in the woods with the dogs. Enter the Keen Revel IV High Polar Boot." -Mike R. in Ely, Minnesota
“I’m looking for a more stylish winter shoe, something that says, “I’m rugged and I look good (even when the forecast doesn’t).”
A versatile winter shoe with a slip-on design, our Brixen II travels from the ski lodge to a retirement party without blinking an eye. The low height of this pull-on shoe makes it easy to get them on and off, but won’t leave your feet feeling damp or freezing (like other low-cut boots tend to). Feet stay warm with an insulated, waterproof design and a triple-layer footbed that captures warmth and keeps it in.
“These puppies slipped onto my feet as if they were custom made for me. I can wear them for hours and hours of walking in pure comfort.” - Wish you were here in Oregon
Pro tip: Feet of fresh snow outside and low-slip ons won’t cut it? Check out the Anchorage Boot III. They have the same slip-resistant tread pattern as the Brixen II but with a keep-the-snow-out height.
Need something a little more casual? Say, for holiday caroling or winter markets filled with miles of aisles? Look no further than the Anchorage.
“I’m constantly running in and out of the house. Got any indoor-outdoor styles?”
Winter boot meets favorite slipper. Quickly slip on the Howser boot to run and get the mail, take out the recycling or holler at the neighborhood kids (why are they using those hockey sticks that way?!). They’re made of water-resistant nylon with a soft lining so you can wear them with or without socks. The rubber outsole is just right for dog walks and helping unload groceries, but it doesn’t feel clunky indoors.
“These shoes are great as indoor slippers or boots for the outdoors. Even in sub freezing temperatures, my feet stayed warm and toasty.” - Kozy Ken in Texas
Added bonus: In addition to a boot, you can also get the Howser as a low slide or lace-up chukka (if it were up to us, this slipper-shoe would come in a dozen more styles, too).
It’s raining in Oregon (big surprise), snowing in the Midwest and just cold as heck in New York, but your feet would never know it tucked in KEEN winter boots. Check out all our cold-weather styles here.
