Now that winter is officially behind us and long weekends are in sight, we went straight to the source and polled our fans to find out your favourite places to get outside all summer long in Canada. With such a diverse landscape, and stunning outdoor spaces, there are endless opportunities to get outside every weekend (or every weekday!).
Hiking was at the top of everyone’s list, and Banff National Park is the perfect place to do it. Surrounded by majestic mountains, pristine lakes, and abundant wildlife. Our fans recommended a hike to Moraine Lake, taking a dip in the Banff Upper Hot Springs, or just taking in the breathtaking beauty of Lake Louise.

A floral paradise on the West Coast, the Butchart Gardens are located near Victoria on Vancouver Island. Here you can stroll through stunning gardens, admire vibrant flowers, and pack a picnic to eat amidst the breathtaking landscapes (don’t forget to pack your reusable containers and utensils).

You don’t even have to own a bike to enjoy this activity, you can rent one and embark on a picturesque journey along the Confederation Trail, stretching across most of the charming province of Prince Edward Island. Located right in the heart of the province, Algonquin Provincial Park is a nature lover’s dream. Whether you enjoy canoeing, hiking the scenic trails, or camping amidst the wilderness, there’s something for everyone. One of the most memorable kayaking adventures you could have is along the Saguenay Fjord, a majestic natural wonder carved out by glaciers.
