Fort Wayne: Classic Jobsite Looks w/ Modern Tech

We took the classic moc-toe design and reinvented it with 21st-century materials and construction methods, making it a new match for your old-fashioned work ethic.

Wedge work boots with moc-toe construction are a jobsite classic. Their rugged design and lightweight feel make them a favorite of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, warehouse workers, and landscapers. But alongside their more traditional design comes the perennial problem of blown-out toe stitching. When you need the kind of durability the toughest jobs require with a look you love, KEEN Utility has the solution. Meet KEEN Utility men’s Fort Wayne work boots.

Classic Design, Modern Protection

Fort Wayne work boots are the first moc-toe boots in KEEN Utility’s line to come equipped with a KEEN.PROTECT wrapover rubber cap to protect the boot’s toe material and stitching. The abrasion-resistant design stands up to daily wear and tear and keeps your boots looking (and feeling) good for longer.

Left and right asymmetrical, non-metallic, carbon toes offer an unobtrusive fit and are 15% lighter than steel. They’re tested to meet or exceed the latest applicable ASTM and CSA standards for impact and compression. The boots are also available in a soft toe—a great choice if your jobsite doesn’t require footwear with higher crush resistance.

An Electrical Hazard (EH)-rated outsole offers a secondary source of protection when it comes in contact with live electrical circuits.

Flexibility and Grit

Fort Wayne work boots are built with KEEN.FUSION construction. This process fuses the upper, midsole, and outsole to create a long-lasting bond without the use of glues and solvents. The result is a boot that’s a bit more flexible than one made with Goodyear welt construction and more durable than a cemented shoe. So you can squat, kneel, and run up stairs with ease, confident that your boots can handle the stress you put them through. The KEEN.ToughSole outsole is lighter and tougher than rubber, so your boots weigh less and last longer. Plus, it’s oil- and slip-resistant for sure footing when you’re working on wet days or climbing ladders and scaffolding.

Ready for Any Weather

Whether you’re working on muddy ground or unloading a truck in the rain, count on KEEN Utility Fort Wayne work boots to keep your feet dry. They have a waterproof and breathable KEEN.DRY membrane that allows heat and moisture to pass through without letting water in. That means you can move through your day without the discomfort of damp or sweaty feet.
